An arts-integrative peer reviewed publishing platform supported by the Alliance for Arts in Research Universities (A2RU). Development of the technical platform has led to the release of a beta version at: http://groundworks.io and the first works have published through the process and a general CFP announced.

Groundworks promotes research-based, interdisciplinary collaborations through rigorously peer-reviewed presentation of arts-inclusive work, and guided reflection on the processes that support them. The goal of Groundworks is to support a robust, critical community of practice to support all modes of collaborative work that interface with the arts. Groundworks combines a rubric, a digital platform, communications strategy, and editorial network in order to evaluate all modes of collaborative work that intersect with the arts.
